After this mission was complete, I learned how to upload to Youtube and add things into the description etc. I learned this as this was my first opportunity to upload onto Youtube so I adding an appropriate title and description was a lot easier than expected as it looks very difficult. I also learned that famous youtubers work hard for their money as this took me 3 hours to edit as I was not familiar with the software.
With this mission I learned that people who make a living from youtube have to work hard to get their video to a success as it would take an awful long time to edit, upload and to also get views. About myself well I learned that I was better at editing than I thought I was.
Failure with this mission was editing with DaVinci Resolve 16 as we HAD to use Adobe Premiere Pro but unfortunately our group did not notice that till the last week. Success in this mission was uploading to Youtube without any problems whatsoever.
In this whole mission I am most proud of when I edited the video as I feel the video came out quite well edited and it was my first time editing with video editing software. If I was to do this again, I would start earlier as I would have more time to edit.

Culture Product
Now it is time to talk about how this project was created. I would first of all download a video off of Youtube using the y2mate.com website. I would put in the URL in the website and download the file in MP4. The MP4 file would then automatically save onto my laptop. The Video editing software I used for this mission was DaVinci Resolve 16. It was free to download so therefore I did download it so we could get a start on editing this video.
Once the MP4 file was saved to my computer, I started editing the video. The video I downloaded was a 25 minute video of funny compilations and when editing, I just cut bits out and kept bits in just to make it shorter and more entertaining. Once the editing was finished, I would export the mp4 file, render it and save it to my pc. I would then upload it to Youtube with an appropriate title and description.
Mia, Cian and I met up in the library and worked on the presentation for the project for about 4/5 hours. We put down history of youtube, why is was created, facts about the most viewed and subscribed channels and links to our videos for people who want to watch them. We played our videos at the presentation to give an overview of what our videos were like.
Once the presentations were done, we uploaded the Powerpoint onto moodle.

Culture Process
The second mission was called Culture. Once we were told what was featured in this mission, we all had to stand in certain areas based on the topic we wanted to do. I wanted to do YouTube so I stood in one corner of the room with 5 other people who also wanted to do Youtube. We decided from the group of the 6 of us to make 2 teams, So for this mission I was paired up with Mia and Cian.
Our goals for this mission was to make a Youtube channel and hopefully we can make videos and share them onto Youtube itself. I also hope to get a better understanding on what famous youtubers do for living and if it is difficult or do they earn easy money?
By the end of this mission I hope to produce at least one video for my youtube channel. I hope to have edited this video using a video editing software. The topic on our videos is going to be Community Compilations.
Resources that could help me on the way would be an editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci resolve 16 etc.) Another resource that could really help be would be youtube itself and Social Blade. We can look up tutorials, and how much money and subscribers each channel have to just buy looking up their username. Youtube would be helping me as a resource as we need to upload video(s).

Creativity Reflection
In this mission I have learned how to create GIFs in Adobe Premiere Pro. I learned it by googling tutorials and then copying the tutorials and then creating my own GIF using the instructions I learned in separate videos.
While working on this project, I have learned that I am a good team worker as I put we all put in the same amount of work as each other. What I learned about this mission was that GIFs are actually not that difficult to create as all you would need is a video and Adobe Premiere Pro and you would be good to go. If you would want to add visual effects, I suggest you use GIPHY after Adobe Premiere Pro is finished with.
The Success of this mission was that we got our GIFs that we made to run perfectly and smoothly without any problems which I was very happy about. The failure of this mission was our presentation. After the presentations were presented, Shaun informed us that for the next mission he would want more images and less text in the presentations as it would look neater. Unfortunately we did not know about this command so therefore had lot of text and barely any images in our final presentation.

then when we save it, we would or if it was a video taken, we would edit the
video down to the most important part and then put the video on loop. We did all

the presentation, we made a powerpoint on Microsoft Powerpoint. In this
powerpoint we put in the history of GIFs, put in our own GIFs for people
viewing our powerpoint and we would talk about how we did the GIF and what was the purpose behind it and also explaining how and why GIFs are so popular. The
PowerPoint myself, Nathan and Abdi created in the Library and sometimes in the
Mac Labs. Once the Presentation was made, we would save it to the pc we made it on and upload the final presentation onto Moodle.
Creativity Process
For the first mission I decided I wanted to do a GIF as it was the best option there was available and it interested me the most. Nathan and Abdi also wanted to do GIF so we all came together as a group to do this project. Once the group was together, we would set our goals for this mission. The goals for this mission was to learn to how to make GIF using Adobe Premiere Pro and GIPHY. By the end of this project I hoped to have learned how to make GIFs and get a better understanding on how they work.
The resources that will help me along the way are going to be Adobe Premiere Pro as that is how we are going to make the GIF and then GIPHY is going to help me make the effects for the GIFs we are going to make. I really hope that GIFs are going to be easy to make as I have never made one so I really do not know what to expect.
We also had to plan what we were going to do our GIFs on and we planned on doing a football GIF of one of us taking a shot on goal and creating it into a GIF.

Introduction to who I am
My name is Justin Flood and I am 19 years old. I live in Leixlip county Kildare. I have lived there all my life. My goals for this module is to do good and get a high grade. I would also want to learn something valuable and unique in this module that I could use in my future life.
My favourite food is pizza and my least favourite food would be the traditional dinner that would be bacon and cabbage. My brother likes it but I do not.
In my free time I would usually play on my Xbox with my friends or even go out with friends and have a good time.
When I was born I was diagnosed with dyspraxia. Kind of hard to explain so if you really want to know you can google it haha.
I have an older brother named Danny and an older sister named Carrie. Danny is 23 years of age and Carrie is 20 years of age. I have my Mam and my Dad and my dog at home also. My dogs name is Rocky.
I am really excited to start my journey here in the Blanch Campus 💛
