For
our project on the GIF, we used Adobe Premiere Pro and GIPHY to make the main product
that was GIF. In Adobe Premiere Pro if it was photos taken for the GIF, we
would make a video timeline and add everything in the GIF frame by frame and
then when we save it, we would or if it was a video taken, we would edit the
video down to the most important part and then put the video on loop. We did all
of this in the Mac Labs whenever they were free. One the GIF was made,
and we were happy with it, we would first of all save it from Adobe Premiere
Pro onto our pc.
Once the GIF was on the PC, we would upload the GIF to a website named GIPHY. GIPHY helped us put the visual effects onto the GIFs we made. For my GIF I used a glitch effect that was created on GIPHY. You can also add filters to add to the GIF but we did not use any. Once the visual effects have been made, we save that GIF onto the PC once again. The 3 GIFs are now made, and we then start on the presentation.

For
the presentation, we made a powerpoint on Microsoft Powerpoint. In this
powerpoint we put in the history of GIFs, put in our own GIFs for people
viewing our powerpoint and we would talk about how we did the GIF and what was the purpose behind it and also explaining how and why GIFs are so popular. The
PowerPoint myself, Nathan and Abdi created in the Library and sometimes in the
Mac Labs. Once the Presentation was made, we would save it to the pc we made it on and upload the final presentation onto Moodle.
